LGC - Low Grown Central.

En parche - term used for coffee in the parchment.

Laterals - Side branches, often horizontal.

Primo Lavado - a grade of coffee which includes most of the fine coffees of Mexico. Generally a contract term which means the coffee is of good grade but not really specific.

Dirty - An undesirable unclean smell and taste, slight to pronounced. Dirty implies a defect, such as sourness, earthiness, or mustiness. See Natural Coffee and Wild.

Grassy - A flavor taint from use of swamp water for washing, or from improper drying. Also used as a synonym for green and past-croppish.

Forwarder - An agent who takes charge of a coffee shipment for interior clients and directs transportation.
